MAYBE SPROUT WINGS

Okay, so I didn’t do an update at all during the second painting. But. It’s now finished! Mrs Hudson was my second subject, and she is now complete.

Now… Lestrade! *flexes fingers*

Just finished my first painting! Irene is complete!

Anyway, it is currently almost 4am, and I should really be sleeping. But I’m having too much fun with this painting, now that Irene has actually started to look like Irene!

A few hours and I should be done with the first piece. I may not finish it before I get so exhausted I fall asleep sitting up, but I won’t have much to do tomorrow.

I finished my sketches today, so have now moved on to painting the first picture. And let me just say, Irene is a pain in the arse to draw and paint. It so far looks, I believe, nothing like her. All my other sketches look like the people they’re supposed to look like, but Irene? Not even a little bit. I thought filling in some colour would help, but so far it hasn’t appeared to.

Damn you, you smug bitch. Stop mocking me.

Remember that art project I mentioned a couple of times previously?
Well, I’ve made a little bit of progress today, extending my sketch count from two to five. Three more to go, and then I can start painting over them. (I’m doing it in that order because I don’t want to start painting one and get bogged down in it before I’ve at least started the others.)

I have fibromyalgia too, and it can be pretty debilitating when it gets bad (like right now). So I shall keep Lestrade’s wise words in mind :P
